There comes a time when inspiration becomes conviction… and conviction asks us to change the way we live.
Lately, I’ve felt God speaking deeply to my heart about fear—not only about living in fear, but about the fearful messages we allow into our lives and then unknowingly pass along to others.
Fear is such an easy trap.
It can keep us watching, worrying, anticipating, and analyzing until we become completely paralyzed—unable to move toward the very things God has placed in our hearts.
But what if that beautiful desire inside you isn’t something to fear?
What if that dream you keep returning to—the one that feels full of goodness, love, beauty, purpose, and possibility—was planted there by God Himself?
Maybe it’s time to stop feeding fear and start feeding faith.
To close the doors on messages that continually make us afraid.
To stop giving fear our attention, our energy, and our voice.
And instead, to become intentional about what we nurture and what we share.
For me, that means creating with greater resolve than ever before. Painting beauty. Speaking life. Loving people. Looking for what is good. And keeping my eyes fixed on the Light.
🦋 This butterfly feels like a beautiful symbol of that choice.
Transformation. Freedom. Beauty. Becoming.
I want my paintings—and my life—to leave people feeling more hopeful than I found them. I want what I create to remind someone that there is still beauty, still goodness, still possibility, and still a God who lovingly calls us forward.
I am closing the door on fear and opening it wider to faith, beauty, love, purpose, and light.
And perhaps that is where real, lasting transformation begins. 💗
“For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.” — 2 Timothy 1:7
