Today is my birthday… and I’m feeling extra reflective, grateful, and inspired.

I was born in Huntington Beach, California, and if you know me, you know the ocean has always been part of my soul. There’s something about the salty air, the rhythm of the waves, and those quiet moments on the pier near my Grandma’s house… talking with God, dreaming, listening, just being. Those memories are woven into who I am.

“Preppy Palm Trees” was born from that place in my heart.

It’s a little bit coastal, a little bit playful, and a whole lot of me. The bold colors, the whimsical patterns, the preppy flair—it’s that feeling of sunshine on your skin, a breeze in your hair, and the kind of joy you can’t quite explain… only feel.

Even though life has taken me far from that beach, I still carry it with me. I still long for it. And through my art, I get to go back.

This piece is a celebration—of where I came from, of the dreams that grew on that pier, and of another year of life, creativity, and faith.
