Color Spirit is a celebration of untamed courage and radiant individuality.
This horse is not meant to blend in — it is meant to be felt. Layers of bold color surge across the canvas, each hue carrying its own energy, its own story. Pink leads the way, not as softness, but as power — confident, fearless, and unapologetically alive. Color Spirit was taught as part of a Legendary Painting Workshop at the National Cowgirl Museum and Hall of Fame in Fort Worth, Texas — a setting that celebrates strength, courage, and the enduring legacy of women in the Western world. Surrounded by history, artistry, and powerful stories of independence, this painting came to life as a shared creative experience rooted in confidence and expression. Teaching Color Spirit in this iconic space felt deeply aligned with the heart of the work itself — bold, unapologetic, and full of movement. The workshop honored both tradition and innovation, inviting artists to explore color freely while embracing the fearless spirit embodied by the modern Western horse.
