There is just something magical about gathering the girls, putting on a little music, and creating something beautiful with your own two hands.
On Saturday, May 9th at 2:00 p.m., we’re hosting one of our most loved specialty workshops inside the Tipsy Artist Paint Palace in historic downtown Guthrie — our Cowgirl Hat Painting Experience — and it falls on the most perfect weekend of all… Mother’s Day weekend.
If you’ve been looking for something meaningful (and actually fun) to do with your mom, your daughters, your sisters, or your best friends, this is it.
This isn’t just a craft class.It’s a memory-making afternoon.
🤍 The Hat
Each guest will receive a gorgeous ivory cowgirl hat with a soft suede finish. It’s one-size-fits-most with an adjustable string inside for a comfortable fit.
It’s classic. It’s flattering. And once you paint it? It becomes completely yours.
We provide the acrylic paint and every supply you’ll need. You just bring your creativity — and maybe your favorite snacks.
🌸 Choose Your Style.
For this workshop, I’ve prepared two stunning design options:
Floral Garden Hat – A romantic, customizable floral design featuring bold blooms and beautiful detailing. You can adjust your colors and add personal touches to match your personality. It’s soft, feminine, and absolutely perfect for spring photos and Mother’s Day brunch.
Patriotic Heart Hat – A bold red, white, and blue design that is festive, joyful, and perfect for summer celebrations. Wear it for the 4th of July… or honestly, all year long if you love that Americana flair.
All templates are beginner-friendly and easy to trace. I guide you step-by-step, so even if you’ve never painted before, you’ll leave feeling proud.
🎨 What the Afternoon Looks Like
Doors open at 1:30 p.m. for tracing.Instruction runs from 2:00–4:00 p.m.
Inside the Paint Palace (117 W. Harrison Ave., Guthrie, OK 73044), we’ll walk through the design together in a relaxed, encouraging environment.
This class is designed for beginners and recommended for ages 9 and up. If you know your child can comfortably enjoy a 2+ hour creative session, they’re welcome — just remember that everyone entering the studio needs a paid registration, and minors must be accompanied by an adult.
🍓 Food & Drinks
These are family-friendly workshops, so please no alcohol.
You’re welcome to bring your own food and drinks. Just remember to bring cups, plates, napkins, and utensils if you need them. This is a private venue, so nothing is available for purchase onsite.
Think charcuterie boards, cupcakes, sparkling lemonade… make it a celebration.
👚 What to Wear
Casual and comfortable is best. Aprons are provided, but paint can occasionally splatter (that’s part of the fun).
